Specialty Pole Classes
Movement Lab is your safe place to unleash yourself. Whip your hair and explore strange and wonderful flows with us. The instructor will guide you through dance games, structured flow and partner exercises designed to excite and inspire you. Discover new movement and expand the familiar. Whether your comfort zone is contemporary, unashamedly sexy, gymnastic, or your own unique blend, you’ll be welcome here. Suitable for every dancer, all levels welcome.
Pre-Requisites: Students must have attended a minimum of at least 3 Intro/Pole Level 1 classes.
Notes: Socks or leg warmers recommended.
Pole Exotic: Level 2+
Turn your floorwork skills up a notch in Pole Exotic. This class combines standard sexy movement like body waves and hair tosses with pole-assisted handstands, forearm stands, walkovers, splits and acrobatic transitions on and off the pole. Learn how to progressively break down even the most intimidating trick into tiny, achievable steps - and how to smolder while doing it all.
Pre-Requisites: Students should have working knowledge of fundamental spins and basic pole moves such as climbs and pole sits.
Notes: High heels strongly recommended. Knee pads or leg warmers highly recommended. Layers and long pants are recommended for this class in case you need to cover shoulders or back skin for floorwork.
Fast & FiercE: Level 2+
Are you ready to Slay!? This is an ALL LEVELS choreography class that focuses on the FIERCE side of Sexy! Being aggressive means we’re speeding up the transitions. But don’t worry!! We slow down and melt into the ending positions! The choreography stays low and focuses on simple tricks and shapes, sexy floor work. Heels and pants are optional, knee pads and socks are highly recommended! Come find out how Fierce you can be!

High Heels, Low Flow
All Levels (see pre-requisites)
This class will focus on transitions, sensual movement, floor work, and sexy low flow. Learn routines using the pole to move seamlessly & sensually between floor work & pole work.
Pre-Requisites: Students must be able to climb, pole sit, and know basic static spins.
Notes: High Heels required. Shorts may be necessary. Knee pads or leg warmers recommended.
In this Contemporary Pole class, we’ll learn a short choreographed routine pulling from various dance styles, sometimes in heels, to improve flow, transitions, floorwork and our overall dancing skill set.
Pre-Requisites: Students must have attended a minimum of 5 Intro or Pole Level 1 classes.
Contempory Pole Choreography
Beginner / Intermediate
Russian Exotic Pole
Get fit with Russian style exotic pole! Marked by strong lines, dynamic spins, and enticing floorwork, this style of exotic pole is controlled, strong, and very sexy.
We will start with a yoga based warmup and stretch. You will also learn new pole assisted stretches to use in your daily flex routine.
The bulk of the class will consist of a fun and sensuous exotic pole choreography routine set to exciting music that will make you sweat! We will focus on working the base of the pole with low flow combos and tricks.
Please bring heels, kneepads, lots of water, and be prepared to WORK!
Pre-Requisites: Students must be able to climb, pole sit, and have a solid foundation of basic static spins.
Notes: High Heels required. Shorts may be necessary. Knee pads or leg warmers highly recommended.
We offer pole classes for every level, and each class is capped at 8 people (Studio West) and 14 people (Studio East) so everyone can get the individual attention they need. All classes are first-come, first-served, so please show up 10-15 minutes early.
