WHAT IF I’M RUNNING LATE?

Contact the studio immediately. If we haven’t heard from you by the time class starts, your spot may be immediately given to a stand-by waitlist student. If you will be more than 10 minutes late for class, you will be late canceled, and your class credit will be forfeited. We understand that things happen, so ask front desk for your one-time make up credit.

WHY IS the LATE POLICY SO STRICT?

Because we care about your safety! Every class requires a warm up. If you are late, you are missing the most important part of the class. The warm up increases muscle efficiency, reduces potential for injuries, and prepares your body for the movements being performed in class. Your safety is our #1 priority, therefore, this policy must be enforced.

DO I NEED TO SIGN UP AHEAD OF TIME?

Yes! Due to the popularity of our classes, you must be booked into class in advance to guarantee yourself a spot in the class. Classes must be pre-paid to reserve a spot. If a class is full, a waitlist is available (see waitlist info below). If fewer than 2 people are booked in to a class 6 hours before class is scheduled to begin, class may be canceled.

WHAT’S THE DEAL WITH THE WAITLIST?

Many popular classes fill up early, so you can use the waitlist to claim a spot when someone cancels their reservation. It happens quite often!
Unfortunately, ClassPass users are not able to utilize waitlists on MindBody.

You may be automatically added into class up to 3 hours from the class start time if a spot opens up. The system sends an automated notification via e-mail or text once you have been added to the class. You must be opted IN to notifications to receive these notices.
The Vertitude LA does not take any responsibility for the delivery of notifications by MindBody Online or through your e-mail or phone service provider.
Students are responsible for managing their own accounts and schedules.

Students may cancel off the waitlist at anytime before the system adds you to a class. Once you’ve been added, you will be responsible for attending the class, or canceling at least 6 hours prior to class to avoid a late cancel fee (see cancellation policy below).

If you are added to a class and do not show up, you will be listed as a "No Show", and your class credit will be forfeited.

If a class spot opens within 3 hours of class time, you will be contacted by phone call or text to see if you can make the class. If you don’t answer the phone, we may skip you over and add the first available student. You will not be added to a class without your prior approval less than 3 hours before class.

HOW DO I CANCEL A RESERVATION? what happens if i do?

You are able to cancel reservations at any time, using your Vertitude Mindbody account. Reservations include classes, open pole/aerial sessions, studio rentals, after-hours studio rentals, and private lessons.

Due to the high demand of our services, we must enforce a strict cancellation and no-show policy.

  • If you cancel a class, open pole/aerial session, or studio rental less than 6 hours prior to your reservation time, your reservation credit will be forfeited.

  • If you cancel an after-hours studio rental or private lesson less than 12 hours prior to your reservation time, your reservation credit will be forfeited.

  • If you no-show for any reservation, your reservation credit will be forfeited. Additional fees may apply (see below).

Students are responsible for canceling their reservations via their online account or by emailing the front desk here. We will only accept requests in writing via email. Here is a step-by-step for BOOKING & CANCELLING reservations.

Please note that MindBody may or may not send a cancellation confirmation, depending on your notification settings. You are responsible for managing your account.

Additional fees:

  • Late Cancellation Fee for students with Unlimited Memberships & Packages: $5

  • No-Show Fee for students with Unlimited Memberships & Packages: $15

  • No-Show Fee for Private Lesson Reservations: Full Rate of Lesson (rates vary depending on instructor)

Fees will be automatically charged to your on-file payment method. If your payment method is invalid, your account will be suspended until the fee is paid.

If you cancel 6 or 12 hours prior to your reservation time (depending on the reservation type) you will not be charged a fee, and your reservation will be returned to your account to be used for another reservation. All reservation credits are subject to their original expiration dates.

Please keep in mind that someone may be waiting for a spot in class. If you know you aren’t going to be able to make it to a class, please cancel your reservation so that someone else can take it!

HOW DO I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP?

Send an e-mail request to info@TheVertitude.com. It’s that simple!
Your membership will stay active until the current cycle expires, so you need not wait until the end of the cycle to submit your request.
Requests must be received and confirmed at least 24hrs prior to your renewal date. Requests received after credit card charges are processed will not be reversed or refunded.

We cannot accept any verbal requests. All requests MUST be sent in writing. This ensures that no requests are overlooked.

CAN I TAKE CLASS IF I’M NOT 18 YET?

Maybe. Students aged 13-17 may attend our adult group classes with parental/guardian consent. A parent/guardian must come in with any students under the age of 18 to sign our liability waiver and provide a valid form of identification.
Our instructors have the authority to determine whether a minor student is able to continue taking classes. Some minors are not ready to be in an adult group class environment, and may be asked to take private lessons instead. An instructor’s decision is final, but we welcome all students to be re-evaluated during private sessions for class readiness.

We offer private lessons for children and adults aged 5 and above.
Please email info@thevertitude.com for availability, pricing, and booking!

We offer summer camps, limited series, and other youth classes from time to time. Please check the schedule or our upcoming events page for info.
